Invited lecture of Assist. Prof. Sanja Stipičević, PhD entitled “Pesticides in the soil”

On November 7, 2024 in the Institute for Medical Research and Occupational Health Assist. Prof. Sanja Stipičević, PhD presented the objectives of the Was2Grow project as part of her invited lecture entitled “Pesticides in the soil” for the course “Geological aspects of waste disposal” at the University of Zagreb’s Faculty of Science.

The lecture was attended by graduate students in Environmental Science (Department of Biology) and Geology of Environmental Protection (Department of Geology). The content of the Was2Grow project is presented as an good example of applied researches that could use the bio-waste potential for encouraging the circular economy and modernizing plant-based food production.
