At the 18th International Invention and Innovation Show INTARG 2025, held in Katowice, Poland, under the patronage of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology of the Republic of Poland and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), staff members of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb – Prof. Gabrijel Ondrašek, PhD, and Jelena Horvatinec, PhD – in collaboration with industry partner Dragica Jerkov from FEMA d.o.o., Otočac, were awarded the gold medal for the innovation WoolEcoBoost – Innovative Formula for Maximum Yield!.
The innovation has been further valorized through the registration of a Utility Model (UM 20250031A) and a Trademark with the State Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Croatia, thereby officially recognizing it as a technical and technological solution ready for commercialization. The Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb, has been registered as a co-holder of the rights to the Utility Model and Trademark, confirming its active contribution to innovation development and to strengthening the link between scientific research and the economy through knowledge and technology transfer.
