IMS 2026 – Innovative Materials

The II International Materials Summit (IMS 2026), held from April 6 to 8, 2026, in Las Vegas, USA, brought together leading academic and industry experts in advanced materials research. The event covered a wide range of topics, including nanomaterials, polymers, biomaterials, electronic and composite materials, as well as recycled and surface materials, fostering international collaboration and the exchange of cutting-edge knowledge.


As part of the COIN Symposia program, Assoc. Prof. Sanja Stipičević delivered an invited lecture titled “Functional Biowaste-Based Agromaterials for Sustainable Agriculture: Development and Applications”. During her presentation, she showcased key results of the Was2Grow project, highlighting the benefits of innovative hydroponic substrates and biofertilizers derived from biowaste. These sustainable solutions offer significant advantages over conventional commercial agromaterials.
